Hello folks at Descript! Thanks for your time and consideration for the Video Creator role.

Here’s a learning-style video I made for this application.

In it, I show authors how to make audiograms featuring their book’s content using Descript.

I have experience making learning-style videos like this. Here is the most popular one from my YouTube channel, made in 2020, that teaches a beginner workflow for making video essays.

It currently has 38k views and many folks have commented that they found it helpful.

I’ve used the Descript app for the past year with client work and my personal work, and really enjoy how seamless it makes my explorations in audio, video, text, and interviews.

I have many years of experience doing the ‘one-stop-shop’ style creative work that you mention in the application with writing, recording, narrating, and editing.

I don’t yet have much experience doing talking-head style videos, but am comfortable in front of the camera and want to get more experience.
